I'm Hira Tariq
I am a 4th semester Computer Science Student. I design interfaces I can also build myself. Coding in HTML/CSS/JS and Python/C++/Java gives me a designer's eye and a developer's sense of what's actually feasible — so what I hand off isn't a wish list, it's builtable.
I'm looking for a junior UI/UX role at a design agency where handoffs are realistic and the team values people who understand how their designs actually get built.
EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHT
UI/UX Design Internship _ FLY RANK AI
Designed AI-powered user interfaces and learned to work with AI as a design tool. Conducted user research to identify real problems before designing solutions. Built high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, then coded them in HTML/CSS/JS to understand how design actually gets built. Learned that the best design decisions come from understanding three things: what users need, what's technically feasible, and how your work lands with the person who has to implement it.
Achievements and Certifications
UHE Computing Fest 2025
Competed against designers from multiple universities. Designed a logo that stood out for clarity and conceptual strength — the kind of work that scales from a 16px favicon to a billboard. This win reinforced what I already knew: good design is about making the complex simple, not making the simple look complex.
UX Design Specialization
Completed the full curriculum: design fundamentals, user research methods, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. This foundation directly shaped how I approach Asaan Qanoon — from the category-first flow (based on user research) to testing the design with real users before shipping.
AI Fluency & Claude 101
Learned how to use AI as a design and development tool: efficient prompting, safe integration into real products, ethical AI use, and when not to use AI. Applied this directly to building Asaan Qanoon's RAG pipeline and multi-LLM integration — understanding the “why” behind each choice, not just the “how.”
